Venta El Curro is a cozy and rustic restaurant in Árchez (Málaga) in the area of the Axarquía. The drive to the village is stunningly beautiful and once you arrive at the restaurant you are greeted by an amazing natural stone, outdoor terrace at the foot of a large pine tree overlooking the river, completely surrounded by tranquility and is simply perfect for summertime dining. Inside there is a warm, inviting lounge with a lovely fireplace for cold winter days.
Venta El Curro is known for its fantastic and authentic Argentinean barbecue, with steaks imported from Argentina, cooked outside on the terrace by chef and owner Jose, which can be enjoyed on weekends and most holidays. During the week, the varied menu contains popular Spanish dishes, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, with the local produce being the star of the show. It is recommended to book a table in advance and to make sure the spectacular barbecue is available on your chosen day.
The restaurant opened in 2004 with plans to become the best place in town for authentic, Argentinean meats… ask anyone and they’ll tell you that Venta El Curro is an experience you won’t want to miss!
